Dear Julie, thank you for opening up your home and being such a lovely hostess for your art meetup. I learned some nice techniques and enjoyed special time just being creative with other creative ladies. Dear Sekani, thank you for wanting our heavy old tube TV enough to come haul it out of our third floor apartment. Enjoy! Dear Dad, you are the greatest dad a girl could hope for. Thank you for always loving me, spending so much time with me, and for being such an encouragement to me. I love you so much and I’ll always be your little girl. Happy Father’s Day! Dear Shreck, thank you for encouraging me to carve out time to go be creative. I appreciate so much the time to express myself artistically and to connect with others in creative ways.
Happy Father’s Day to all dads out there! I’m particularly fond of mine. The photo above is one of my absolute favorites, and I thought it appropriate since my birthday always lands around (or on) Father’s Day. Growing up, Dad always found time for cuddles, encouraged my love of music, and fostered my fondness for the outdoors. He taught me how to fish, play baseball, snowmobile, make maple syrup, drive a tractor, build a fire, ride a bike, change a tire, work hard, and so much more. He has shown me the meaning of unconditional love and how a husband should love God, his wife, & family. I am one lucky little girl.
